To our valued members,
Closing out an unprecedented year of uncertainty, sorrow and challenges, we see hope and a sense of optimism as we leave 2020 in our rear-view mirror and look forward to the new year and new beginnings. In the spirit of the holiday season and the faith that sustains us internally, there is much to feel good about.
We are blessed to have such a strong business coalition and community leadership that has met those challenges head on with a purpose of perseverance and sustainability. As business leaders you sacrificed much for the public good and took the proper precautions to keep those around you as safe as you could. Thank you for setting the example.
The past year was not one for the weak of heart, mind, or soul, and it did reinforce upon us the vulnerability that surrounds each of us.
The holiday season is our annual reminder, perhaps even more so this year, of what is important in sharing with family and friends the real purpose of life and beyond.
Despite the pandemic, 2020 served a valuable purpose in many ways of reflection and planning. There are no guarantees in life and certainly this was another stark reminder of our human frailty. It also reminded us that nothing can replace the caring and devoted human spirit of compassion and togetherness.
Perhaps 2021 can be a banner year for our community and set the stage for economic growth, job creation and many new developments emerging. When we work together for the betterment of all, then we have already won the most important battle.
Let us be thankful for what we have, not what we lack, and keep in mind that service to humanity is truly the best work of life.
May many blessings be bestowed upon you and your families. Merry Christmas and happy holidays.
