About Us
People's Health is a non-profit clinic for all people. We provide the community, with the WIC and Family Planning Programs.
Family Planning offers a reproductive health clinic with affordable care to all community members. We take private and public insurance but also provide many state-funded grants and a Sliding Fee Scale to allow patients the ability to receive the services they need regardless of their ability to pay.
The Family Planning program provides multiple health care services including wellness exams, breast cancer screening, cervical cancer screening as well as birth control and STI testing and treatment. We are proud to offer customizable educational classes to the community as well. Topics typically include Wellness Care and Prevention, LGBTQ+ terms, Askable Adults, Birth Control options, Safe Sex Practices and Healthy Relationships.
The WIC program ( #308-534-1678) is designed for Women, Infants, and Children under the age of 5. WIC serves about half of all infants born in the United States. It is a nationally-funded service that provides nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating, and referrals to health clinics. WIC aims to safeguard the health of low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age 5 who are found to be at nutritional risk.
People's Health is honored to house the Access Period closet distributing pads, tampons, and Diva Cups to anyone who needs them.
